It is finally here! Several people have asked me how long it took me to write Truths Not Spoken. That is a really good question and my answer is always the same: Depending on how you look at it, the book took one year, eight years or 30 years to write.
Most of my free time in 2016 was dedicated to writing the book, although I actually started it eight years before. Back then, I got about 20,000 words into the book, then dropped it for some other projects. I wrote my very first novel 30 years ago, then dropped that as my marketing career ramped up. That novel was never published (and never will be.) Still, it is a memory of a different time in my life and lovingly stored in an envelope in my closet.
After all that work, my first official novel is for sale on Amazon.com and people have actually purchased it. Even better, strangers seem to have actually purchased it! While Amazon.com doesn’t tell me who bought the book, I have had strangers reach out to me on Facebook with questions or comments about it. Amazon.com did report that one book was even sold through their German website. To me, that is all pretty damn cool!
If you are curious about the book, you can read the first part of it for free. Click here to get a sample. Even better, there is no need to install a reader app or even log into Amazon.com.
